The Good Life: The Fear of the Lord

In this series, we spend a few weeks in each of the “wisdom books” of the Bible - Proverbs, Ecclesiastics, and Job. We’ll examine what they teach us about “the good life,” the inherent difficulties we face in making wise choices, and what the Scriptures teach us about how to gain true wisdom. This sermon introduces the Proverbs’ perspective on the good life, and the pre-requisite to acquiring true wisdom: the fear of the Lord.

Proverbs 1:1-7 - Josh Fairbaugh
